Favorite daily products

This may come as a surprise to most, but I don't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis.  When I do put it on, and not for an event, I don't use the same kind of products I carry in my kit.  My skin is super sensitive and I'd rather let it breath as much as it can.

As some of you may know, I am also 7 months pregnant--which is wreaking havoc on my skin!  It is now more sensitive, less dry and dehydrated (for the first time in my life), and I am experiencing break outs.  Where is that pregnancy glow everyone talks about?

Here are my current favorites to keep a light, natural, day look:

1. Face:  Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer was my go-to, but the SPF and fragrance are killing my preggo skin.  Instead, I've been moisturizing and using a little wax-based foundation if needed, and NARS concealer for my under eye and blemishes.

2. Blush/Bronzer/Highlighter:  I never can settle on a favorite blush, though I do frequently go back to "warm soul" by MAC.  It's light and not too harsh for a natural look on my very fair skin.  I don't find it suitable for event makeup, but for everyday I like the color.  I don't wear bronzer or highlighter everyday.  When I do want a little bronze, I use "Milk Chocolate Soleil" by Too Faced.

2. Eyes:  Neutral, matte shadows to keep it light, and a winged liner to elongate my round eyes.  I LOVE Bobbi Brown gel liner.  Lancôme Hypnose Drama is my absolute fave mascara--as long as you apply quickly to avoid clumping!

3. Brows:  Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe.  Yes, I'm a brunette.  Yes, brown typically looks too warm or too dark for me.  I am a big fan of going lighter on the color and applying with very light pressure to create a "fuller" brow look as opposed to a drawn on one.

4. Lips:  Strawberry Lip Balm or a homemade lip moisturizer.  I only wear lipstick and liner with full makeup and must be careful with ingredients due various allergies.  If I'm not thorough with investigating ingredients, I can get reactions to wheat derivatives or the fragrance in cosmetics--eek!!!  Lip products are the toughest for me!
